Ed Reid

Ed's family moved to the Northwoods in 1972 when his parents decided to leave the hustle and bustle of Chicago and start the Chicago style pizza and Italian restaurant Spang's in St Germain, WI.

After high school Ed worked for his parents for a few years learning the inner workings of the restaurant industry and met his wife Kathy. 

In 1981 Ed and Kathy opened a second location of Spang's in downtown Minocqua and had 21 successful years as local restaurant owners before selling to his brother.

He pursued a career in real estate in 2001 and is known throughout the community for his honesty and integrity.

If you are lucky he might share some of his world famous pesto with you!

FUN FACTS ABOUT ED

• Ed is known around town as "Eddie Spaghetti"
• Ed is the longest resident of Timber Ridge Country Club, a gorgeous off-water subdivision in Minocqua with a golf course. He is also the subdivision's self-proclaimed historian and know-it-all. 
• As a kid growing up in Chicago, Ed was an avid Pigeon racer, sometimes racing pigeons over 100 miles
